Joanne Cataldo since studied art since the age of seven when her father
started taking her to the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Sundays.

After that she continued her journey at the School of Visual Arts, New York City,
the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston,
the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and the New Art Center, Newtonville,
as well as master classes with Philip Pearlstein, May Stevens and Christian White.

She is currently a resident artist at gorse mill studios, Needham, MA
an artist-owned working studio complex.
